Terms of Service
These terms are a draft for SiteAid. They describe this website (https://mysiteaid.com). They are not a contract until the operator and a lawyer adopt them.
The service
SiteAid offers an automated check of public web pages and, on paid plans, a visitor script for display options, a hosted accessibility statement, and a problem-report form. The script changes display in that visitor's browser. It does not rewrite the site, and a subscription does not make a site conform to WCAG or the ADA. It is not legal protection and not a certification.
SiteAid is not a law firm. Nothing on this website is legal advice.
Accounts and billing
Starter and Pro, when payments are turned on, are subscriptions billed by Stripe. You provide an email and the website the script is for. Prices shown on the pricing page are the amounts billed. Sales tax is not calculated during checkout. Promotion codes work only if Stripe accepts them.
If a payment fails, or you cancel, the visitor script for that subscription stays available for 7 days and then serves an empty file that does not change the page. Sites an operator created by hand are not part of that billing and are not turned off by it.
What you do not get
A scan, a score, a statement, or a paid plan is not a finding that a website meets the ADA, conforms to WCAG, or is safe from complaints. Automated tools miss barriers that need a person to judge. You are responsible for your own website and for how you describe it to your visitors.
Acceptable use
Do not use the scanner against sites you are not allowed to test. Do not send unlawful content through the problem-report form. The operator may refuse a subscription or remove a site record that breaks these limits.
